I love Target, but these people love Target even more than me. I just head for the clearance racks every time, which means I often don’t notice their real stuff, such as these rather amazing lampshades.

I’ll put StT on the sidebar in a minute, and then I will have marketed all three of them, Target and the lampshades all for free right here on my own blog. Just because I actually wanted to. You can get paid in freebies for that sort of thing these days, here is the blog of some people who organise that, and I think it looks like a fun hobby for someone who gets out and about and chats to people often. Not sure if they count blogging or if it’s just about accosting folks in supermarkets.

Although I like Target, I don’t like their website much. It does have tons more clearance stuff, but you can’t try it on. And in fact it has so much clearance stuff it takes forever to sort through it all. So I will be going back to Real-Life Target later for the purple tie-front cardigan that is either $9 or $4.50, which I can’t check as my search on the website just then did not find it.

The idea of half a cardigan is indeed quite silly, but here in Texas half is very often just the right amount. Having said that about Texas, it was so freezing in shul yesterday I didn’t even notice any hunger or thirst. It’s the time of year when thermostats get confused about whether to switch the A/C on or not, and they often make mistakes. The lady in front of me went and got a bunch of duvets and spent the whole day wrapped up in one of them but I chose to freeze instead. The men had come prepared with nice big shawls, but I bet those get pretty warm around June when the A/C is doing the same thing only backwards.

I’ll be busy with my children for the next few weeks which may affect blogging but more likely just piano playing and what kind of films we get to watch. And absolutely everything else, of course.
