Just so you know that sometimes I actually do the things I say I am going to do, I have now been working for three whole days at my new career as World Famous Artist (yes thanks, I am aware that this is the most embarrassing career anybody could possibly attempt other than working for Martha Stewart, and believe me if it wasn’t for the potential deathbed-regret thing, I would be a postman instead already) and I have made some stuff. If this was a diet blog, I would say that I have lost one and a half pounds, which is encouraging although obviously there are another two hundred and fifty to go, but this is not a diet blog because my problem with food is remembering to eat at all, not eating too much.

There is not a lot of point in me telling you what I have made, because even if you liked it, which is not necessarily likely, I don’t have a camera yet so I can’t show it to you. Probably this blog will get a slightly new look and have pictures in the next few weeks or months, and be all about what I am making and/or what culturey things are inspiring me at the moment, which I think could make quite a nice blog, although I’m not going to change the url again because I fear you readers have been pushed too far already from the crazy number of times I have deleted everything, moved and started again, which is possibly some kind of world record for a person who is actually still blogging at all. Whoever said introverts are extroverted on the internet never met me.

In other news, I visited the new Whole Foods store yesterday. This is the little Austin business that is taking over the world and opening in London soon. It was like KaDeWe, Selfridges and Harvey Nicholls food halls combined, only much bigger and with lots of room to walk around. Very impressive in a slightly scary sort of way. Austin really gets it about the best European ways of doing things. No wonder I like it here.
