OK, not a lot of news on the cultural front. I started watching this movie but haven’t finished it yet, and ordered Peter Ackroyd’s famous London, although it will be too late to inspire and inform my lovely London co-cker-ney love story for NaNoWriMo-nth. However, this is partly because I have been writing, and today I am actually quite pleased with my progress having calculated that I can actually pass the finishing post (which as nanowrimoers call winning, it doesn’t mean prizes just satisfaction- everyone who makes it to 50k is a winner, you see.) Fifteen (very short) chapters are up there now. In a good mood, I think they are the sort of think Mike Skinner could make into a concept album with, you know, the addition of a few things like drugs and money and criminals and plot and… yes well.
